Can I get academic credit from previous studies or work experiences?

To ensure you do not study subjects in which you are already competent, Meridian International Hotel School recognizes relevant study, work and life experiences. Examples of Recognition of Prior Learning and Credit Transfer can include:

  • Study undertaken in English in a relevant discipline.
  • Prior work experience in the hospitality industry.

In order to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning and Credit Transfer, please tick the appropriate box on the application form and attach all relevant documents to your application.

What options are there for me to transfer into university for a Bachelor or Masters Degree?

Meridian International Hotel School has several relationships with Univeristies in Australia to ensure you can continue your studies to enter a Bachelor Degree after you complete an academic program with us.

How do I apply for a Work Permit?

Application for Work Permit can be completed online at the DIAC website. Alternatively to apply in person, download the form.

Once completed, take the form to Admissions at Meridian International Hotel School for sign off and get the official Meridian International Hotel School Stamp, then take the form to DIAC located at:
