Career Fair
Each year, students attend the Meridian Annual Career Fair, where you can meet face-to-face with potential employers from some of Australia's leading hotels and recruitment companies. Employers like the day because they get the chance to offer jobs to the best and the brightest Meridian graduates before they enter the job market.
During the day, you'll sit down and discuss your career plans, and present your resume to about 20 representatives from major hotels, catering companies and hospitality recruitment agencies like the Crown Melbourne, Grand Mercure, Marriott Hotel, Radisson on Flagstaff Gardens, Black Tie Catering, City Chef Solutions and Epicure Catering,
The October '08 Career Fair was a huge success with 600 Meridian students meeting with 20 employers. So far, 250 students have secured a job or offer of a second interview...and the job offers keep coming.
