Guaranteed (Hospitality) Industry Experience Program
The Industry Experience Program (IEP) is currently only available to Melbourne students. When you apply for the Industry Experience Program (IEP) you are guaranteed 900 hours of industry placement.
The Industry Experience Program is a premium service and additional fees and conditions apply when you accepted into the program.
Cost
- The total cost is A$7,000, made up of two equal payments of A$3,500.
Entry Requirements
Currently, when you are enrolled at our Melbourne campus you will be eligible to apply for work experience once you’ve completed your first semester. Applicants to the program need to satisfy the following criteria:
- Minimum Credit Grade Average
- Hold a Food Handler Certificate
- Completed a minimum of 100 hours voluntary work in a restaurant/café under the supervision of Meridian International Hotel School
What the program offers you
- You will receive an initial period of professional-level training and then be placed in a range of paid hospitality positions by Industry Placement staff.
